1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CosyJotter ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CosyJotter is a platform for writers to publish, share, and monetize their creative works, and for readers to discover and engage with stories. Our services include:
Chapter-by-chapter publishing tools
Reader-writer interaction features
Content marketplace for books and merchandise
Live streaming capabilities (in development)
Universe mapping tools for organizing story worlds
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

Maintain the security of your password
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3.2 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use CosyJotter. Users under 18 require parental consent. Access to NSFW content requires verification of age 18+ (or 21+ depending on jurisdiction).
4. Content Guidelines
4.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create and publish on CosyJotter. By publishing content, you grant CosyJotter a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your work on the platform.
4.2 Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
Content that violates any laws or regulations
Content depicting or promoting child abuse or exploitation
Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Spam, malware, or phishing attempts
Doxxing or harassment of individuals
Note on Fanfiction: Fanfiction is permitted in our dedicated fanfic section. However, you must respect the original creator's wishes. Works marked "no derivatives" or explicitly prohibited by creators should not be posted.
5. Monetization
5.1 Revenue Sharing
CosyJotter takes a 15% platform fee on all sales and tips. Writers receive 85% of revenue after payment processing fees.
5.2 Payment Terms
Payments are processed monthly. Minimum payout threshold is $25. You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your earnings.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
CosyJotter reserves the right to:
Remove content that violates these Terms
Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
Moderate community interactions
Update these Terms with reasonable notice
7. Beta Testing
During the beta phase, the Service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs or undergo significant changes. Beta testers acknowledge that:
Features may change or be removed
Data may be reset during major updates (with advance notice)
The platform is under active development
Feedback and bug reports help improve the service
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
CosyJotter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
CosyJotter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
